Biography
- Received Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering from J.N Government Engineering College, Sundernagar and Master of Technology from NIT, Jalandhar.
- PhD from Dr B R Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar.
- Presently Working as Assistant Professor (on contract basis) in Textile Engineering Department at Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (H.P) from 15th December 2016 to till date.
- Worked as a Shift Officer (Production Department) in Nahar Industrial Enterprises Limited (A Unit of Nahar Fabrics.) Lalru (Punjab) from August, 2010 to June, 2011.

- Research Interests:Sewing Dynamics, Geo-textiles, Medical Textiles, Knitting Technology, Modelling and Simulation, Product & Process Optimization.
Brief Research Profile
- Worked mainly in the area of Geo-Textiles, which mainly deals with runoff soil erosion control of foothills of Himalaya. Recent, research has been focused on the measurement and analysis of needle heat-up in industrial sewing machines and its computer numerical simulation.
