Dr. Dinesh Bhatia

Received Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering from J.N Government Engineering College, Sundernagar and Master of Technology from NIT, Jalandhar.
Pursuing PhD (Part Time) from Dr B R Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar.

Presently Working as Assistant Professor (on contract basis) in Textile Engineering Department at Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (H.P) from 15th December 2016 to till date.

Worked as a Shift Officer (Production Department) in Auro Spinning Mills (A Unit of Vardhman Textile Ltd.) Baddi (HP) from July, 2010 to June, 2011 & also worked as TPGT (R&D) in Vardhman Yarns and Threads Limited (A Unit of Vardhman Textile Ltd.) Hoshiarpur (Punjab) from September, 2013 to December, 2013.

Research Interests: Yarn Manufacturing, Yarn Structure, Clothing comfort, Product Development, Modelling and Simulation, Product & Process Optimization.

Worked mainly in the area of modern yarn spinning and production, which mainly deals with new product development and their various applications. The significant contributions include the original research work in the field of aesthetic and comfort properties of knitted fabrics manufactured from various spinning system. Recent, research has been focused on the thermo-physiological characteristics of hand spun and machine spun worsted porous wool rich yarn.
