ECE TWASK EVENTS
1)HUNKY BRAINS
This event will be about analysing the basic scientific knowledge on devices, instruments and phenomenon, being an engineer a student must be aware of. In the first round participants will be shown some slides containing technical and non-technical facts in consecutive and they will be asked to write the subject on a piece of paper. Then a quiz will be conducted on same subjects as stated and the team with best performance would be appreciated.
2)WORK THE NETWORK
This event will be focused on creating an equivalent network of impedance. Participants will be given certain passive components viz resistor, capacitor and inductor and asked to create a network with the given equivalent impedance. The team with least error in the output value will be appreciated.
3)UNANORGICS
This event will comprise of logic implementation of given function, in form of a circuit using switches (both one way and two way). The event will start with simple standard gates implementation within given time constraint. As the competition progresses they will be asked to implement the SOP and POS expressions as well as multiplexer switching. The team with minimum time duration and no. of switches for implementing the logic will be appreciated.
4)TRICKY CIRCUITS
This event consist of three stages:
(1) First stage is CROSSWORD this stage is to check basic electronics knowledge of the Students.
(2) PUZZLE: This is like a fun game where participant have to arrange different parts of a given image in proper order within a given time slot.
(3) The final and last round of Tricky Circuit is Tricky Circuit itself where there will be only four teams, participant have to solve or make a working circuit from the given circuit diagram.
5)BUGGS FUNNY
This will be an offline debugging competition where the individual participant has to showcase their coding skills by debugging the provided buggy code.The participants will have to debug the given code and crack the clues given to open the nested password protected folders and the one who opens the final folder first will be the winner.
6)WIRE LOOP GAME
A wire loop game is a game which involves guiding a metal loop (a 'probe') along a serpentine length of wire without touching the loop to the wire. The loop and wire are connected to a power source in such a way that, if they touch, they form a closed electric circuit. The circuit is connected to a light or sound-emitting device of some sort, so that when the loop and the wire touch, the light-emitting device will light up, and the sound emitting device will make a sound, traditionally a buzzing noise.
