MECHANICAL TWASK EVENTS

1)Lift It Up
Event will include construction of a hydraulic weight lifter mechanism with the help of syringes and plastic pipes and the other material provided to the participants. participants are not allowed to carry any tool or helping material with them. The team whose mechanism lifts maximum weight without any kind of failure will win.

 

2)Rocket Repulsion
Take your first big step to propel yourself into the world of aerodynamics! Water Rocket is a mechanical event that involves the fabrication of a rocket whose fuel/thrust for flight is obtained by the use of water that is expelled at a large air pressure. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion. The pre requisites for such an event would be a basic knowledge of fabrication, materials and physical calculations involving thrust, air pressure, etc. The event tests a couple of aspects of the Rocket’s flight. These include range and accuracy of the launching mechanism.

 

3)Rubber Band Car
To make a car by using bottle, disc, elastic rubber based on the ‘Restoring Force’ principle. The restoring force is a function only of position of the mass or particle. The force which is responsible to restore original size and shape is called restoring force. The rubber band restores to its original position, which help in motion of car. The Judgement of winners are done on the basis of their design and innovation. And a race is organized to decide the fastest car among participants. Exciting prizes are rewarded to winners.

 

6)Glider Flying competition
Glider is a light aircraft that is designed to fly without using an engine. This project is about construction of Glider and make participants to understand the basic about Aerodynamics and flights mechanism. A flying competition is organized to judge the best Glider craft and on the basis of design and originality winners are decided. Exciting prizes are given to winners.
