TEXTILE TWASK EVENTS
1)TEXTILE QUIZ
In this event students will perform in teams. It consist of total 4 rounds. 1st round consist of questions from spinning, 2nd round consist of questions from weaving,3rd round consist of question from chemical processing and final round is rapid fire round.
2)POSTER PAPER PRESENTATION
In this event students have to prepare poster paper or review paper on particular topic based on textiles like smart textiles, geotextiles , medical textiles, nano –technology in textiles etc .In this an individual or a team of two students can participate.
3)WASTE TO BEST
In this event textile waste material is used to make different creativities based on a particular theme. One participant will make one creativity with the material provided.
4)KON BANEGA TECHNICAL GURU
It consist of 3 rounds in which questions based on current affairs , textile basics , aptitude reasoning will we asked. Total number of teams participating will be 7 , each team consist of 5 members.
5)PLAY WITH WORDS.
It is an event in which an individual has to identify an technical term with only few letters of the word given.
6)MANNEQUIN COMPETITION
Mannequin is a dummy used to display clothes . these dummies plays an important role in visual merchandising . In this event mannequins are provided to participants alomg with material like fabric ,buttons, ribbons, tissue papers, newspaper ,disposable bowls, spoons, plates and so on. Participants have to dress these mannequins in best possible enthralling look . There will be a team of 3 students.
